We had such an amazing time walking around Gosford Park! Lots of historical features (walled garden, castle, well, bridges...) A great variety of trees (native and imported) plenty to do for kids such as low ropes course, swings, ziplines, slides, climbing ...(or for grown up if you're lucky to go when kids are at school) Loved looking at the deers.
There are a few trailers on the car park (coffee, ice cream and chippie)

Fun day out for the kids. Walking and bike trails for all abilities, the walking trail has different play areas dotted along to keep the kids entertained. Brilliant park. Toilets are clean, plenty of picnic benches and there was a coffee/sandwich van beside an Ice cream van on site. Highly recommend.
We loved it! Nice selection of routes to walk, short and long. Great adventure trail for the kids with play areas along the walk. Playground and picnic area at the car park with food and coffee vans.
We stayed here and absolutely loved it. Quiet site mostly, great trails and the children loved exploring on their bikes all day before having smores in the evenings. It's 2 minutes away from Markethill for takeaways, shops or even a pubstop! I marked it down for 3 reasons - the constant cutting of grass, he literally drove around us on the mower. 3 days of constant mowing noise, it spoiled it. The lack of EHU for tents and its in serious need of a washroom. Brushing teeth in toilets isn't ideal and there's only one sink in the showers, which were constantly flooded. Weather was wet so facilities were under pressure.
All in all we had a great time, 2 adults and 5 children ranging from 5 to 13. We are already planning a return trip.
First time at this caravan Park. Enjoyed the walks and the surrounding area. Lots of activities for young and old alike.
We had a fantastic active day in the Gosford Forest Park. Long walk and beautiful secret adventure playgrounds in the middle of.. There was no deers this time in their enclosure.
Love coming here, would go everyday if I could, brilliant walks my son loves here too, great picnic spot, only downside is the toilets badly need done up, massive spiders on the ceiling, doors don't lock properly or else they don't flush, for such a popular spot it really needs proper toilet facilities. Other than that it's a beautiful place to go to, and you can get a yearly pass.
Lovely place to camp for a weekend, walk, cycle and watch the deer and wildlife. Some food vans in the carpark and friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities for campsite users and very reasonable price.
